Dear players,

please read >> here <<.

Thank you for being a part of this!

  • Good morning, @Aworan. So, there seem to be several problems concerning this matter. Did you manage to take a look at my screens, especially the ones comparing the AtkValue-only Ruby... and the bonus-less one? Unlike the results of your test on the lv.120 warrior, mine are clearly showing that extra atkValue contributions won't be taken into account.

  • Well @Aworan, it took me some time, but I edited the latter message by attaching some screenshots, via links. I hope they'll be useful.

  • I guess I should offer you a cup of coffee, someday.

  • I do not mean to be rude but, please let's say focused on NORMAL polymorph, as it is already not properly working. We'll think of trading cards later.

  • Hello there, @Aworan ! I made another test - and well, I clearly got the impression that atk-value given by DSS doesn't properly work. I'll try to attach some screenshots to provide more evidence while I copy down the results of my tests. _ First of all, I started off with a Lv.93 Ninja, having 90 points on both STR and DEX. I haven't completed lv.92 quest yet, so I do not have additional atk value from that mission. I did, however, complete Tugyi's tablets quest, so I guess there's about a 10% …

Well, it seems clear to me that they are definitely OP. They've got bonuses on chance to avoid arrows, atk speed, atk value (this one, being the highest value reached in Metin2), critical hits and now, even piercing hits. They're both good at PvP and PvM - there were some lv.90 Lycans capable of taking down Beran Setaou, before the 17.3version changelog. And they didn't even need to use any power-up from itemshop. The only drawback is given by relatively slow melee attacks, when "swinging" claws…

  • Thank you, you're most kind. If you want me to test anything concerning this matter or have any specific request, I'd be glad to help you. I used Devil Chakram daggers because of their relatively narrow atk range (220-229), by the way. I guess I'll start by doing this test with a weaponless ninja.

  • I really appreciate your feeDback, @Aworan - please do not abandon this matter, as I think it's quite important for balancing purposes. However, I didn't fully understand the outcome of your tests. My questions are: - are ATKvalue bonuses given by lv.92-94 quests taken into account or not? - I'm pretty sure I enabled DSS right AFTER using polymorph, but still, the increase in damage given by the +270atk Ruby was unsignificant. Are you sure your increases aren't merely due to +12 STR? - Could it …

  • No Piercing Hits by Arrows?

Well, yes - fortunately, they have fixed piercing hits and they are even working on characters using transformation.

  • Please do NOT ignore my efforts, it took me some time to test this issue, which I believe it's QUITE important, since we're discussing about balancing. At least, let us all know if this is a bug or if it's intended this way. @Aworan @unforgiven @badidol @Comkra

  • SKIN WEAPONS WITH DEFENCE

    Post

I've got a question for the staff. Is it true that there still are some WeaponSkins supplying "old-type" bonuses, such as pvp-resistances and Max.HP, which are preserved by using Bonus Transfers? In my community, many players complain about few other players still having the chance to exploit these bonuses. Well, that'd really be unfair. What's the point into pvp-balancing if someone may still retain bonuses which on Skins? I guess Webzen hasn't taken any action in order to force these players t…

  • Please note that while Warriors, Suras and Lycan do not always need to transform - and therefore, may sum the FULL contributions of DSS to their self-buff skills, Ninjas rely only on transformation in order to make better damages. However, if atk value is NOT taken into account, there's a considerable difference in their outcomes.

  • Greetings, I wanted to point out a major issue concerning transformation: while using a polymorph marbe, attack value given by DSS won't be taken into account in damage calculations. By chance I had some marbles with me and my standard equipment. So, I asked for a help and I've been lucky to find a really kind player from Poland - thank you, M3STER! - who helped me out with calculations. I basically spent some time crafting two different types of DSS Ruby: the first one having attack value, the …

  • Minor improvements

    Post

Hey there, I just wanted to suggest some minor improvements in order to make the game more enjoyable, especially when it comes to working with repetitive actions. I noticed that in DSS you can load materials in the refinement window just by right-clicking on the needed material: wouldn't it be nice if the same thing applied to potions brewing, especially for Young ones, which are pretty boring to prepare? Also, while upgrading DSS level, I noticed something really annoying. Beans cannot be loade…

  • Levelling up pets in beta

Please reconsider my proposal. I think it'd be important to evaluate the new effects of resistances, considering that I'm talking as the owner of a character over lv.81 - and I'm pretty sure many other testing players are in my situation. By introducing Demon Blades+9 in one of the shops and something to boost enormously the rate of exp gaining, it should be pretty easy. Same speech for pet books, obviously.

I think obtaining bonus resistances on Weapon Skins wasn't really fair at all from the start, since it emphasized way too much the gap between those who could afford them and those who couldn't. I'm happy they removed it.

Hello there, I was wondering, could you introduce a way to level up pet faster, just for testing purposes? This way, we could provide you a more accurate analysis, taking into account the bonuses given by the pets.

  • Healer's ''attack up'' ideas

Yeah, but enabling this buff for 10-15seconds only, won't make it versatile at all. I mean, it's a buff, it should be easily available, otherwise we're just talking of random changes, not improvements. Unless there's a CLEAR and good reason for NOT following this line, I insist on the plain atk value (or even better, on average damage). I also do not like the magical atk counterpart, as this would somewhat nullify AMR balancing. I mean, we've recognized the problem: Attack Up is nowadays useless…

@Aworan: why wouldn't it be good? Please explain your reasons - experience taught us that following too complicated paths won't give any positive outcome, am I wrong? So, I understand you're trying to go for something new, but game dynamics are still the same as always and we should keep them in mind - or at least, that's how I see it. Moreover, you probably thought of this idea in order to discourage people using a Healer as a secondary character to buff themselves: well, while this could work,…

I don't agree with you, @WasuLove - and I'm telling you this not as a Healer user. I think that a good balancing about PvP capabilites of Shamans should concern AntiMagic, rather than reducing their magical attack. The only thing I do not like about their power is that Shamans (as well as Suras and Dagger Ninjas) do not really have to work that much to get a high AMR percentage, while whover tries to defend himself enhancing his Magical Resistance, needs continuously to find Costumes and Helmets…
