Shaman balancing
PostQuote from curioso2: “Leadership makes sense to be used for the group to take advantage of it, that is, to give more attack, more life, more attack speed, not for just one character to benefit from it. Either way, it's usually the buffer that distributes the lead over the group, not the players who are killing that will do that to the shaman ” Well, that's a pretty widespread misconception, according to me. Making buffs last +61 extra seconds is actually quite useful for the whole group, that's …

Well, that's true! Many thanks for paying attention to our criticisms, that's really appreciated!

Stealth buff
PostMy idea is pretty much simple. If Sparkle had been meant to be performed with daggers/swords as well, I'd have loved keeping the chance of poisoning, as it could be useful in many PvE circumstances. However, I've a feeling they won't change that parameter. So, if they really will decide to keep it as a bow-only skill, it would have much more sense to make it suitable for PvP, following their basic idea. Which is - as Olthir said - a way to escape from stingy situations, (for instance, when an ar…

Stealth buff
PostOh my, oh my. It looks like someone's fearing auto-assaults may not work anymore! Quote from Signo: “With this new skill features the archers can leveling/farming easyer ,maybe good as i see. ” I really fail to see how a skill meant to be performed with a BOW could be useful for leveling up and farming. Not to mention that Stealth (and we're talking for Dagger Ninjas ALSO, here!) does not actually work as a white flag, since mobs who were attacking you earlier, can still "see" and attack you - e…

Dont ruin lykan
PostWe'll never come out of this, guys. Everyone will keep arguing about it. Testers are implying that there may be a general revision of damages, so we probably should just test the overall damages for every class, when the 2nd beta will be available. Consider that surpassing the 100% piercing hits threshold will still be giving extra damages - and as far as I remember, no one said they'll be COMPLETELY removing them, on Crimson Soul. Chances are, the actual damage will be calculated taking into ac…

Hello there, we were discussing about a deeper character customization in the other thread, if I am not wrong and you came up with this nice idea, thumbs up for you! This is way more interesting than the 7th/8th skill system, which is a really poor attempt of customization, since defending against one skill only is almost useless. However, I've got a feeling that your idea should be taken into account as soon as we're somewhat happy with the PvP balancing, in order to make a FAIR game more inter…

Greetings, I actually think this choice hasn't really been a bug but was made on purpose. Flame Spirit is not exactly a "buff skill" but a "passive attack skill" - here's a proof for you: it cannot be turned off by Dispel. Since the game dynamics do not allow casting skills while riding horse/mount, I guess it's fair for it not to work while riding.

Hey there, istant potions are actually quite useful in PvE as well, any delay applied on their use would cause problems in other areas of the game, while solving PvP unbalance. However, I'm afraid they won't change them, as they actually make the difference between who puts real money into the game and who doesn't. Metin2 is a free to play game, but unfortunately it really sticks to the pay4win formula to sustain itself. Actually, all item-shop merchandises create a chasm between players, but oh…

Dont ruin lykan
PostThere's no reason to be so unmannered, to the champion over there - I know it's summer but please chill out. Actually we're all telling the same things, more or less - the extra piercing hits and the progressive boost on atk value given by INT are a fact and I though we all agreed on this. Do not expect people not to answer to those who act like they don't want the character to be AT LEAST reviewed, though. It's not me nor you who'll be deciding if it's too OP nor not, by the way - but it's a fa…

Dont ruin lykan
PostQuote from Yemon: “But don't forget body warriors don't get 1-Hits from Razador/Need, but all other classes do. ” Well, to me that sounds just like a bug and it should be fixed - there's a discussion concerning that matter. Let's hope Webzen will give us some news about it. No one's hoping Lycans to become useless, by the way. But they're too strong as they are now, indeed.

That's not a valid criticism and we're not hating anything, we're just being objective unlike you and your buddies who are crying beforehand - no offence intended, my friend, but that's the truth. PvE is mainly done on mounts, especially on the +20% damage boar - we already discussed about this matter. Collecting exp points is mainly done on mounts as well: lower levels kill Spiders in the respective dungeon on a mount; higher levels crush arboreal Metin rocks - guess what? - on a mount. All met…

Dont ruin lykan
Post@Bgd Bls: I know about the changes, but before they were made, a Lycan could achieve that feat. The dragon got more resistant, but Lycan's strenght has not changed. That's not really a way of solving the problem. I seriously hope they won't be making everything harder just because of Lycans. Making things harder for Lycans by changing game contents means making everything nearly impossible for other classes and that's a really, really bad way of balancing. It is much more reasonable to work on t…

Stealth buff
PostWell, that's a good idea indeed. It actually does not solve the auto-attack problem and the "vacuum" effect it would create on a camounflaged character, but it brilliantly gets around it. Does invincibility prevent bouncing and "block" from being attacked? If the answer is yes, then it's truly a good idea. It may sound somewhat overpowered, but if they'd apply the same concept to Dagger Ninja's Stealth (just 2 seconds of invincibility and then a normal Stealth) probably no one would complain.

Stealth buff
PostI also love this idea, since Spark is actually a smoke bomb ( and definitely not an arrow to be flung with a bow... ) I guess it's intended as a defensive Stealth rather than an offensive one and I actually believe it's okay this way, so I personally do not expect any "stealth buff" on skills. There's one problem, however - which we will be able to discuss only after having tested the skill in the next beta. Since it'll be a defensive stealth, it's vital it really interrupts the enemy attacks, l…

Shaman balancing
PostWell, do not forget that Leadership-skill may help making buffs long-lasting. This is actually a clever idea to give more importance to this passive skill, which many players ignore. If Shamans' buffs cooldowns are well calculated (in particular, they are calculated in such a way that a player with >G6 leadership may assure a better performance for the buffs given by the Shaman of his group), everything should be fine. You could also try giving more importance to "Wizard" in order to make things…

PvP Optimisation
PostIt would also be nice to customize secondary abilities. For instance, brewing potions or anything like that - it would make character development way deeper. But I guess that's not what designers would want to do.

Quote from xIIMIIx: “what is 25% ?? it's very low u can use green dose better than i ” Wait a moment, this is utter nonsense. Green Potions give +30 atk speed, they last 10minutes only and moreover are really expensive on most Metin2 communities - they're even available in ItemShop. Having a high atk speed basically means being able to destroy metin rocks much more rapidly: if this feature is combined with a high atk value, you get a really strong PvE class. You're telling us that +25% is a laug…

PvP Optimisation
PostThat's not a bad idea, as there would be a furTher* reason for levelling up to lv.120 and making the playing character complete. The bad thing is that you would lose the only chance to customize your character settings: however, I think everyone agrees with me, when I say this kind of customization is really, really cheap. xD

PvP Optimisation
PostMoreover, because of this update, an archer would need to reset continuously INT-VIT according to what he intends to do (either INT for PvP/GvG or VIT for PvE). You cannot max four stats, that's the problem. I kinda like this... attempt of character personalization, but as we already said, something sounds wrong. Maybe they could think more throughtly about this.

PvP Optimisation
PostI guess the INT-component was intended as a sort of little "nerf" in order to somewhat limit Archers' new power. That way, an archer would have to choose between VIT and INT. The problem is, they assigned DEX-component to the weakest skill, while ALL of the other ones are boosted by INT. I'm not really a huge fan of this idea, I've to say. Still, it'd be better if ALL classes actually had at least ONE skill influenced by a stat. they generally do not max up (i.e. intelligence for Warriors). They…
