    I have a question to all Dragon Shamans and Healing Shamans. In the Beta Server, did you have an easier time to slay monsters and, till some degree, bosses and metins? I am talking about doing it alone, not in a party or with other characters.

    I have brought the whole discussion to WebZen. The damage from Shaman skills will not be reduced because of the Weapon Specialization, it will increase if you use the specific weapon. This is not really a nerf, it is just the possibility to increase the damage even further. As a compromise with the Developer, we will try to reduce the bonus given by this specialization to only be +10% of damage.

    It is a critical hit independently if it is normal melee hits or skill hits. As I already said in other topics, this is being discussed with WebZen.

  • This is normal everywhere. It is not the amount you get from Vitality Point that is randomized but the amount you get per level - which is also reset.

    The overall damage output from Shamans has been increased, specially against monsters. It is not about being the best or not.

    After lengthy discussions with WebZen, we are preparing the following changes: Shaman - Reduce the cooldown for Shaman buffs - Dragon Aid - Reducing the critical hit chance the buff gives (trade-off with decreased cooldown; values are still not known) - Increasing the self-buff value (Shamans will get higher critical hit chance from their buff than other classes) - Weapon Specialization - The damage increase from Bells for Dragon Shaman or Fans for Healing shaman will be reduced to maximum 10% L…

    You cannot have only positive changes for classes, this is impossible. There has to be a middle term for everything. Balancing does not means only improvements. We are in talks with WebZen regarding the PvP critical hit damage.

  • This is normal. The amount of HP and MP players get per level is randomized. This means that at higher levels there might be a difference between 2 players of the same class and with the same items.

    If we wouldn't care about users, we wouldn't have changed some of the proposed things. We hear you but there is a limit to what can happen in the timeframe, this is the reason why there will be more balancing updates.

  • You are comparing damage between weapons but damage is calculated differently per class and weapon. Hence it makes no sense to do a direct comparison.

    Critical hit damage only in PvP is being calculated depending on the Weapon Damage and how upgraded it is. The damage increase is independent from the initial hit damage.

    Balancing will be done in phases and each phase will go live. The aim is to try to give every character the tools to be able to go through the content of Metin2 (PvE and PvP) without overlooking the obvious archetype (melee/tank,Debuffer/DPS, etc).

    From what I can see it is the same radius as the buffs. I will do some tests though. Edit: When you heal someone, the animation only shows up on the Healer and not on the character that is being healed but the receiver still gets healed.

    Well, the skill still has a range, if you are in a group, it will only heal all the party members which are inside a Radius. Is this the problem that you have encountered?
