You cannot really separate completely PvP from PvE. You still have buffs that are really unique and add quite good amount of damage in PvE - not so much in PvP - we are still in talks about this. Regarding Healing Shamans' damage. This will need to be addressed but most likely there won't be enough time to handle it till we need to deploy the update. We really need lots of feedback regarding the PvP damage, but good feedback, with images, videos to explain. This would help a lot to explain it to WebZen. PostPriore, Of course that there will be some damage loss but we need to start the whole balancing somewhere and we are trying to reduce the damage. With this update, PvE will become easier for Shamans, a bit harder for other classes because of the reduction of Dragon Aid. PvP will be more tactical and less damage will be dealt overall - less 1 hit kills. Ok, critical might have less power here but it will make it more fun because it will take more time to kill other characters.

PostThe chance is not directly about Shamans, this is the reason why we are trying to expand the ownbuff from Shamans even further. And reducing by from 50% to 30%, 33% for Dragon Shaman, is not nerfing to the ground, the only situation is when you have no other way of getting critical chance... but that is a completely different problem.

PostBecause you need to control better your resources. If you let yourself die, if you do not assess risks properly you might not have buffs for a good chunk of time. This is why it balances out.

Every single weapon works in a different way. A 2-handed weapon with 30 Attack Speed attacks slower than a 1-handed sword with 30 Attack Speed. The bonuses for each weapon, just like the standard statistics can be different from class to class. At the moment, there is no reason to add a sword for the warrior. This skill can have huge impact on melee classes (it basically would multiply their damage even further). With this in hand, currently there are no further planned changes to it. Shaman Healers themselves already had a pretty nice boost which would let them have better performance in PvE and still strong in PvP. It does not need more Magic Damage.

PostThat's a nice way of overcoming the cooldown, just like just DCing the character to reset its skills... Anyways, as I said before, we will reduce the cooldown with the next update although WebZen wants to reduce the Critical Hit chance given by Dragon Aid as exchange.
