As the others said, I don't wanna whine before the new beta comes out, but I don't really like these severe changes concerning the bonus "chance of dealing critical hits". I'm thinking of PvE mostly: keep in mind that mobs and bosses will still be the same, am I wrong? Destroying metins will now require much more time for every class; even gaining exp might be really difficult, from now on. You could think that playing in groups will solve the problem. PostI actually fail to understand what kind of confirmations is Webzen waiting for. a) Chance on piercing hits bonus is not behaving as it should and it gives extra damage above 100% - if that was intended to be the brand new solution concerning PvP balancing, welcome to Earth dear Webzen, it's not; b) Lycans can get up to +60% piercing hits just by casting a mere skill and will always be ahead of the other classes under this perspective, both in PvP and PvE. Post@Testreg: that's exactly what I was referring to. The dews-making system, especially the one concerning Young/Bo Waters is pretty troublesome and it hasn't been changed for YEARS. PostYou could have at least put some more emphasis on the actual damage range. First of all, I wouldn't go for ANY power-up while doing this kind of tests. I can't see if one of your pet skills is Berserker but besides from that, I would have removed the Porky pet. Same for the emerald earrings. Although, if I were you, I'd perform this kind of test on wild dogs, because I do not know if 105 metins do have some kind of reduction factor (in combination with plain defense), it seems to me that your av…

Hello? You forgot about Ninjas and Shamans, who also suffer from unexpected atk-speed cap while hitting from a horse. I agree with you with Lycans being way too overpowered and not suffering from any significant side-effects. As for Weapon Suras, they're not as effective in PvP as Warriors are. So, @Aworan. Here's my test, as I promised. Character: male Archer Ninja, lv. 93 Equipment: Devil chakram, 49% avg damage Tissue belt +9 Blue armor (it doesn't provide any atk-value bonus). Extras: - Khan pet - DSS Brilliant Ruby, wielding +270 atk on the "air" set; - DSS Excellent Ruby, wielding +18% avg dmg, on the "earth" set. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (A) Basic damage. PostThis seems a personal matter rather than something concerning an improvement of general gameplay, so I guess you should contact the official support. Yet, it's the first time I hear of avg damages not working. Are you sure you made a good comparison? First of all, you could check in the details tab what happens to average damages: do they actually change, while wearing the two different swords? Piercing Hits
PostCome on. They are trying to cover up a bug by making it appear as a brand new content, while singing the usual rhyme, "nyah nyah, deal with it, that's the way it is". Just out of curiosity, does Webzen actually take into account feedbacks? My perspective is really straight-forward: chance on dealing piercing hits should work in the same way for every class. I don't see how this so-called update would benefit PvP (or PvE) balancing.
