version 18.4 is knocking on our doors and since it involves many features that will have an effect on the balancing we'd like you to invite you to test it with us again in an Open Beta!
Who can take part?
Everyone who wants to help is welcome! You don't even need new accounts for this, we'll simply make a copy of your existing account on the Beta server.
How does that work exactly?
Glad you asked! Here's a quick list of steps to explain the process to you:
Note: The Beta Server is international. For reference we will be marking your account with a country code. This means your login data changes slightly on the Beta Server, as it will be amended with the country code.
Example: your account name is 'Frieda' and you play in Hungary. Your account name on the Beta Server will then be 'Frieda_hu'.
What are the possible country codes?
The possible country codes are as follows:
The maintenances for the Beta server in which characters are being copied over take place daily at 09:00 CE(S)T and 15:00 CE(S)T.
What will be copied over to the beta server?
All relevant information regarding your character will be copied over. This includes the inventory, your dragon stone alchemy, quests, equipment and pets.
What will not be copied over?
Storage, friends list, guild, block list.
Can I copy more than one character?
You can only copy one character per account.
Can I copy a character from a banned account?
No.
Will my character and all its items be instantlycopied after I selected it following the steps mentioned above?
No, this only happens during the maintenances.

- Visit the website beta.metin2.gameforge.com. (currently still unavailable, will be opened up shortly)

- Select the country your account was made in.
- Click "Login".
- Select the server of the character you'd like us to copy over.
- Select the character you'd like us to copy over.
- Click "Copy".
- Check your choices again and then confirm.
